Self-awareness is so important to make sure you stay on track with your goals.
This life is all about balance.
We often talk about how you might feel when you haven't reached your goals yet. However, what about when you have reached your goals & you're in a state of bliss? Self-awareness is still very important to make sure you stay on track with all of your goals; as it allows you to continue to be aware of where you are & where you want to be.
Are you self-aware? If not, that is why you look up & you have strayed so far from your goal of happiness.
💥Nurse Dei-ism: We swear everybody who has gained weight has been unhappy & "emotionally eating." The emotional eating that we are referring to is sadness, low self-confidence, etc.
But what about HAPPINESS EATING? 🤭

We all struggle with something. Sometimes, the struggle is not all bad. You've strayed away from one of your goals because you have been so happy in where you are.
This is why people often gain weight when they get into a fulfilling relationship. They get happy and they eat. 🤣🤭
‼️Self-awareness is so important, and so is shadow work. Again, Self-awareness allows you to know where you are and where you want to go. Shadow work allows you to uncover if you haven't reached your goals because you simply need help or if some traumas are attached to your perception of continued failures.

Shadow work is easier said than done. It's a buzz word these days, but many people don't know what it means, EVEN those who feel they are doing it. Why? Because shadow work is unpacking the layers. Shadow work essentially is part of what you do in therapy. 😉 So, you can say, "I'm doing shadow work," when you write in your journal, but if you don't unpack & be real, you're just surface level.
