1. Why can't I use any candle on my skin?
Massage candles are made from natural ingredients that are skin safe. Many candles are made of paraffin which can be harmful to the skin. Other natural candles may only be made of wax with no oils which, when melted, will not create a smooth massage oil.
2. Why doesn't my candle smell as strong as my store bought candles?
Candles that are made of paraffin have a higher hot throw (strength of fragrance) than candles that are made of other materials such as soy. Also, massage candles are designed to produce a smooth fragrant oil to be used on the body. Though the fragrance may not completely fill a room, the massage oil produced by the candle is highly fragrant.
3. Why is my candle not burning?
The wick of a candle must be 1/4 inch from the wax for the candle to burn. If your candle wick is not burning appropriately, you may need to trim the wick. Blow the candle out and trim the wick closer to the wax.
4. What are the therapeutic benefits of my candle?
The candle performs as it's name states. If you burn a tranquility candle, the oil should help you feel more relaxed. An energizing candle should help you feel slightly energized from the fragrance & even more once the oil is massaged on your skin.
5. What oils are used in the candle?
The Aromatherapy candles are made of a blend of Plant Therapy essential oils & the Spa Day candles are made of a blend of Plant Therapy essential oils & fragrance.
6. Why does my candle smell stronger after more time?
It takes approximately 2 hours for a candle to burn ( no more than 4 hours) to produce the maximum hot throw (scent).
